Terms of use

Dompedia is a domain-data product. We query public registry WHOIS and return a structured object. We are not a registrar, we do not sell domain names, we do not sell registration data, and we are not a source of truth for ownership disputes.

Individual lookups are unlimited*. Fair-use protection may throttle automated harvesting so registries stay healthy. Bulk, drop-catalog, and hunting features follow the plan you pay for.

Drop lists are a snapshot that we refresh on a nightly walk. A name that appears expired may have been re-registered between the last refresh and the moment you look. Always run a live lookup before you act. Live lookups skip the 24-hour snapshot cache.

Paid plans (Signal $29 / Orbit $149) are billed through Polar. Refunds: write within 14 days of the first charge on that plan and we reverse it. After that, you can cancel anytime; the period you already paid for stays active until it ends. Polar’s own checkout terms also apply.

You will not use Dompedia to evade lawful process, to attack registries, or to harvest personal data beyond what the registry publishes. We may suspend accounts that spam the product or the registries behind it.

These terms are governed by the law of the place where Dompedia operates.
